The Boise Goathead Fest is a wonderfully weird celebration of Boise's bicycle culture & goathead removal around the city. This one-day festival kicks off with an eccentric pedal-powered parade. Festival-goers dress up in their favorite kooky costume, bring their person-powered ride (bikes, rollerblades, scooters, etc.), and roll with Boise Bicycle Project and thousands of others through the streets of downtown Boise! After the parade, the festival grounds are filled with live music, artwork, funky bikes, food trucks, and beer from Lost Grove Brewing.

CALLING ALL GOATHEAD SLAYERS!

Goatheads, also known as Tribulus terrestris or puncture vine, are an invasive species that wreak havoc on bicycle tires, bare feet, and pet paws. The Goathead Fest is, in part, a quirky celebration of Boise’s efforts to remove goatheads from hotspot locations. Check back in the spring of 2024 for more information!

TAP LIST

Get hyped for the official beer of the Boise Goathead Fest- the Pedal-Powered Pilsner! Golden, clear, smooth, and crisp with a slightly bitter punch. This limited-edition beer was made in collaboration with like minded folks that wanted to brew a perfect beer for post pedal-powered rides.
