Code of Conduct

The Boise Goathead Fest is a wonderfully weird celebration of Boise's bicycle culture & goathead removal around the city. It’s an event where all people & bikes belong. Boise Goathead Fest will not tolerate abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior before, during, or after the festival. This includes behavior both online or in-person.

  • No obscene, profane, vulgar, lewd, racist or sexually-oriented language.

  • Threatening harm, injury or threats of any kind toward another person will not be tolerated.

  • No racism, sexism or abusive language that is degrading to another person or group.

  • No inappropriate physical contact or gestures of any kind.

  • No overly disruptive photography or videography during the event.

  • No unwanted sexual attention.

Violations of the law at Boise Goathead Fest should be reported to the Boise Police Department. If you’re in an emergency situation, please dial 911. For non-emergency situations, please contact the Boise Police Department at (208) 570-6000.

If you experience any of the examples outlined in this code of conduct or other instances that you’d like to discuss, please contact Julia Mace, Boise Bicycle Project’s Events & Outreach Manager, at julia@boisebicycleproject.org.
